IYAA Basketball Program

Welcome to Independence Youth Athletic Association (IYAA Basketball)!

Our program is designed for boys and girls from 1st grade through middle school, offering a fun, semi-competitive environment where participation is key. Every player is guaranteed to play at least one uninterrupted quarter each game, ensuring everyone gets a chance to develop their skills on the court.

Running from December through March, our season includes an 8-game schedule, a pre-season tournament, and an exciting post-season playoff—all players get to participate! We also provide each player with a team uniform and offer regular practices to help improve their abilities.

Whenever possible, players are placed on teams representing their schools, and teams compete in divisions based on age and gender. Whether you’re just learning the game or honing your basketball skills, our program fosters teamwork, growth, and, most importantly, fun!
